The promise

Diatmous began with a small annoyance — soggy towels and puddled counters — and a quietly remarkable material: diatomaceous earth, a porous stone formed from fossilised algae over millions of years. It dries your dishes with nothing but air.
It felt right that something made from ancient, natural stone should give back to the land it came from. So for every order, we fund the planting of one tree through verified reforestation partners. You buy a mat; a forest gets a little larger.
